André is a civil engineer, ranked fifth in his class at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP).
He is currently studying the final stage of the Master in Structural and Construction Engineering with honors in Structural Engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya - BARCELONATECH. His master's thesis focuses on structural calculation, more specifically on the analytical study of the influence of reinforcement corrosion on the strength, ductility and rupture of reinforced concrete beams.
Regarding his professional experience, we can highlight his participation in a large-scale project in Peru, which was the Modernization of the Talara Refinery (PMRT). This was an EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) type project which involved soil improvement by liquefaction, CFA piles, deep foundations, soil contamination, study of seismic risks, design explosion protection of a heavy metal structure (1600 tons), the foundation and assembly of large-scale mechanical equipment (reactors, NIS nitrogen plant, PSA hydrogen purification station, among others).
